The Quantitative Finance Research Group at the University of Warsaw is a place where research is conducted and experiences are exchanged between people engaged in examining occurrences in the world of investment from the perspective of both theory and practice, on the verge of science and business.
The group’s assumption is uniting students, academic workers as well as business professionals, who deal with quantitative finance, especially topics connected with automated transaction systems, the process of their creation as well as implementation.
The QFRG was established at the Faculty of Economic Sciences and initiated by the department workers with the support of students interested in quantitative finance. In the future, we hope to gain reputation of an institution offering high quality research results concerning various types of investment strategies functioning on the Polish and international financial markets.
